UC-MEXUS Dissertation Research Grants
The blog is back after a holiday hiatus. We're approaching the slow time of the year, where fellowships dribble out slowly. One of the notable exceptions is UC-MEXUS Dissertation Research Grants. Here's the description:
Projects funded are expected to lead to the completion of dissertations or MFA degrees in these areas. Preference will be given to projects that hold significant promise for the advancement of science or scholarship in areas of interest to UC MEXUS; that involve meaningful collaboration with a Mexican institution and/or a Mexican scientist or scholar; or that address issues of importance to Mexico and/or the Mexican-origin population in California and/or the United States.
Because this fellowship requires a little work on OGS's part, I'd like to plead with those of you considering applying to the grant to give it to me for signature by Thursday, March 22. This should give the dean ample time to sign off on your application, which she needs to do on both the graduate division line AND the contracts and grants officer line.
Contact me with any questions.

I'm working on migrating this blog to a different format, but in the meantime, yes, anything I come across will be posted here.
