Fulbright-Hays DDRA deadline announced!

As of TODAY, The deadline for the Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad has finally been announced! The UCSD internal deadline for this year will be Wednesday, November 5, 2008. This means you will need to submit:

-ALL transcripts
-non-exempt research narratives
-ALL online materials

to me by our November 5 deadline. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Welcome

Hello to the new 2008 graduate student body! I just wanted to extend a warm welcome to the incoming graduate students, and say thanks to those who attended the funding presentation yesterday. It was great to see your smiling faces, and I appreciate any helpful feedback you may have to offer.

Fulbright IIE Deadline Fast Approaching!

For those interested in the Fulbright IIE, the UCSD internal deadline is September 12 - just a few days away! Don't forget to submit your application online (through the Embark website), as well as gather all the necessary paperwork/materials. As some of you may already know, the Fulbright-Hays deadline has not been set yet, which means our UCSD internal deadline has also not been set yet. The national deadline is usually sometime in November, but no word yet on the official date. Keep your eye on the DoE website for deadline updates.
